Still Rabbit after all these...months? That's all?!
It's been a while, and I realize that MySpace is a little better for blogging, so I may or may not update this blog

XBOX 2, PS3, and Nintendo Revolution to appear at E3. What does this mean? And how will it ruin/help your social life with real humans?
XBOX is the god of graphics and online play in the console realm.
PS2 is the emperor of fun and violent games.
Gamecube is the 35 year-old man who still watches Dora the Explorer and surfs with a 14.4k modem.
With all three new iterations of the Big Three's consoles to be unveiled at E3 (playable or non), it's a good time to say what's may be their features.
The way I see it, the first out of the gate will be the one who doesn't quite get it right. XBOX 2 (not XBOX 360 or Xenon, as some douches are calling it) is out first (apparently), so granted it will get it great, but price may hinder sales, and there's something suspiciously like Dreamcast's Visual Memory Unit that's being rumored to for high-packed storage. A wireless controller may be standard, with a built-in receiver or a plug in one for those who still want the wired option. XBOX Live will be out of the box on XBOX 2, instead of an add-on disc with your subscription. The biggest rumor is that by the time XBOX 2 launches, a new Halo game, either Halo 2.5 or Halo 3, will be a launch title or an included game. No one knows whether XBOX 2 will utilize Blu-Ray or HD-DVD.
PS3 is second, and it will not be shipping with a built in or added on hard drive, or will it? Dial up will be scrapped, and an integrated ethernet port will be standard. A better online community is what they need, and whether or not it will be available after launch is uncertain. A wireless controller (DualShock 3) is natch, as is interoperability with the PSP. PS3 will use Blu-Ray, so expect a massive Final Fantasy game the likes you've never seen before from Square Enix.
Nintendo's console, called "Revolution", will be the last out. After the Big N's prez said "people aren't interested in online play", they're eating their words with some crow: Revolution will be online...through Wi-Fi connectivity. Nintendo has also said they will try something "radically different" with their controllers. Touch-pads, gyroscopes, and DS connectivity have been floating around the ether. What's for certain is that the controller will be wireless. The must uncertain thing is the media. Will it be a full size disc, or a dinky 3-inch one? Or, god forbid, they go back to cartridges.
Come mid-May, all will be revealed about the next generation of home consoles. Who will come out on top?
